This Cleveland flag design features six white five-point stars on a red field. Three vertical stripes separate the stars into two groups of three.
At the flag’s center, two vertical white stripes are divided by a vertical blue stripe. The six five-point stars recognize Cleveland as the Sixth City. The six stars also represent the six string tuning pegs on a guitar; a tribute to Cleveland’s title as the Home of Rock and Roll.
The white stripe on the left represents Cleveland’s west side. The white stripe on the right represents Cleveland’s east side. The blue stripe in the flag’s center represents the Cuyahoga River.
